Free Nature as Medicine Program Exclusively for those Touched by Cancer
Join the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center's Survivorship & Supportive Services Program & the Osher Center for Tuning In: Connecting With Your Rhythm in Nature, a rejuvenating 2-hour workshop designed exclusively for those touched by cancer, offering a blend of nature-based mindfulness and the healing power of rhythm.
The event will begin with a walking meditation in the serene woods of Ault Park led by Barbara Walker, PhD, followed by a therapeutic drum circle led by Jennie Martin, HealthRythms facilitator, where the collective sound and rhythm foster emotional expression, connection, and deep relaxation.
What to Bring: comfortable walking shoes, water, and an open heart and mind. Drums will be provided. Meet at the flag pole in front of the pavilion.
