Join us for a special screening and community conversation focused on prostate cancer awareness and the disparities impacting Black men.
The Black Walnut is a powerful and innovative docudrama that sheds light on the alarming rates of prostate cancer among Black men. Featuring nine real-life prostate cancer survivors, along with a urologist and medical oncologist in dramatic roles, the film explores the systemic barriers Black men face in accessing healthcare and encourages men to take charge of their health.
Run time: 1 hour, 17 minutes
This event will bring together community members, healthcare providers, and prostate cancer advocates to view the film and engage in meaningful dialogue around prevention, treatment, and survivorship.
