How to Apply

Submit 2 applications: (1) Common App and the (2) Connections Application. Documents from the Common App are not shared with the College of Medicine Admissions Office. Applicants must send separate letters of recommendation for purposes of the Connection application (via the Connections Application).

Application Process:

  • Application and fees must be submitted before December 2nd at 11:59 ET.
  • Letters of Recommendation and high school transcripts will be accepted until December 16th at 11:59 PM ET.

The following steps must be completed to be considered:

STEP 1: Complete the Common Application (Common App), and select a major or minor in Medical Sciences. Students in the Connections Program must major or minor in Medical Sciences. Not all applicants that apply are selected.

Minor in Medical Sciences: Students can apply for a minor after they are enrolled in classes. Contact the Medical Sciences team to add the minor.

  • All questions regarding the undergraduate application process and deadlines, should be directed to the Undergraduate Admissions office.
  • Documents from the Common App are not shared with the College of Medicine Admissions Office. Applicants must submit separate letters of recommendation through the Connections application.

STEP 2: Submit the online Connections application, including the $30 non-refundable, application fee.

STEP 3: Two Letters of Recommendation must be uploaded by letter writers to the application system. Confirm letter submission directly with your Letter Writer. Letter writers receive automatically-generated notification emails with upload instructions upon your submission of the online Connections application.

STEP 4: High school transcripts must be uploaded to the application system by a school official. School officials receive automatically-generated notification emails with upload instructions upon your submission of the online Connections application.

NOTE: Incomplete applications will not be considered by the Admissions Committee and will ultimately disqualify you from consideration for admission into the Connections Program. Therefore, all application materials (Connections application, letters, and transcript) must be received by our application deadline of December 16, 2024. Materials received thereafter will not be considered and absolutely no exceptions will be made to this policy. Again, letters sent with the Common App will not be considered.

All application status updates, interview invitations, and admissions decisions are available through the MedOneStop Portal.
