How to Apply

Who should apply?

The Outcomes Research Fellowship program is designed for 1) physicians who have completed residency training in Internal Medicine or Medicine-Pediatrics; 2) current fellows in a medical subspecialty who wish to have additional research training in Outcomes and Effectiveness, or 3) junior faculty in General Internal Medicine or medical subspecialties who plan to pursue a career in academics as a clinician-investigator involved in outcomes or clinical and translational research. Scholars will have 75% protected time dedicated to research and coursework with the remaining effort allocated to clinical responsibilities.

When should I apply?

Applications are accepted through October to begin the fellowship in July. Please include the following in your application:

Letter from Residency Program Director for current residents, Fellowship Program Director for current fellows, or most recent Fellowship or Residency Program Director for current faculty

In addition, please email a one page letter of interest to Dr. Jack Rubinstein at rubinsjk@ucmail.uc.edu

  • What are the interview dates?
  • Once the applications have been reviewed, candidates will be invited to interview. The interviews will be held in October and November.
