Meet Your Student Wellness Committee

The mission of the Student Wellness Committee is to offer a system of academic, social, emotional, and psychological support to the students of UCCOM

The SWC takes a two-pronged approach to wellness:

  • Social/wellness activities meant for relaxation, stress-relief, and camaraderie among classmates
  • Advocacy for wellness issues within the curriculum

2024 NIOSH Nanotechnology Health and Safety Summit

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Nanotechnology Research Center (NTRC) hosted their 20th Anniversary Health and Safety Summit at the University of Cincinnati, Kettering Lab. The UC Education and Research Center was invited to sponsor this event and invite students and faculty to attend and present posters.

Cancer Awareness Day

The COE team attended Cancer Awareness Day in Avondale, facilitating cancer education, screenings, and vital community resources. Over 200 cancer prevention educational interactions and 25 prostate screenings were delivered.
