The Center for Health Informatics (CHI) provides data, analytics, and informatics support to researchers across the University of Cincinnati and UC Health. Our team within the Department of Biostatistics, Health Informatics, and Data Sciences (BHIDS) supports projects from feasibility exploration through full data delivery and analysis.

CHI is designated by UC Health as an Honest Broker, authorizing us to obtain, manage, de-identify, and release clinical data for IRB‑approved research in compliance with HIPAA, institutional policies, and IRB requirements.

Epic Cosmos

A multi-institutional dataset derived from Epic partner organizations, supporting national‑scale feasibility and discovery analyses.

TriNetX

A global federated clinical research network used for cohort exploration, feasibility assessments, and multi‑site research.

OMOP (Coming Soon)

CHI is onboarding the OMOP Common Data Model to support standardized analytics and collaboration through the OHDSI network.
