Family Medicine Residency Programs in the Department of Family & Community Medicine
The Department of Family and Community Medicine trains physicians to deliver comprehensive, continuous care across the full lifespan and across the settings where patients actually live: clinics, hospitals, homes, and communities with limited access to care. Our four ACGME-accredited residency programs share a common foundation in broad-scope clinical training, community-based precepting, and early leadership responsibility, and each is designed in direct alignment with our department's mission to advance health equity through education, clinical excellence, and service to communities of practice. Residents train alongside faculty who remain active in clinical practice, scholarship, and health system leadership, entering practice prepared for the full scope of their specialty.
