The University of Cincinnati (UC) is committed to improving health worldwide through research, education, training, and service. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Center for Global Cancer Control is leading the effort to address healthcare inequities that result in poorer cancer outcomes across the globe.

Our mission includesadvancing worldwide health through dedicated research, providing comprehensive education to the public, establishing robust training programs for clinicians.

PURPOSE

We are dedicated to advancing knowledge and driving innovation in the field of gynecologic cancer.  Through cutting edge research and comprehensive training programs we strive to make significant contributions to the understanding, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of these cancers in the African context. We envision a future where these cancers in Africa and around the globe are better understood, effectively prevented, and managed with optimal care resulting in improved outcomes and enhanced quality of life for affected individuals.
