LCME Self Study Task Force

Consistent with LCME standards, a Self Study Task Force has been created to ensure that continuous quality improvement activities align with accreditation benchmarks and institutional priorities. Members, chaired by Philip Diller, MD, PhD, dillerpm@ucmail.uc.edu, and co-chaired by Sarah Pickle, MD, picklesr@ucmail.uc.edu, include:

Key responsibilities of the Task Force include:

  • Data Monitoring: Regularly reviewing and analyzing data related to the continuous quality improvement process to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Mid-Cycle Review Oversight: Leading the mid-cycle accreditation review to evaluate the college’s accreditation status, identify risk areas, and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Recommendations to Leadership: Providing actionable recommendations to the Dean based on findings to address gaps and strengthen institutional performance.
  • Accreditation Follow-Up: Monitoring the implementation of improvement measures to resolve accreditation-related concerns effectively.

Working closely with stakeholders across the institution, the Task Force ensures that key priorities are addressed, deadlines are met, and efforts are coordinated to achieve accreditation goals.

Administrative support for the Task Force is provided by David Dietrich, dietrida@ucmail.uc.edu, and Vickie Stump, stumpva@ucmail.uc.edu, of the Office of Curriculum Management and Integration, which organizes and streamlines efforts to maintain and exceed accreditation standards.
