Our one-of-a-kind Wellness Suite, home to a Community Learning Kitchen, Wellness Studio, and Rooftop Healing Garden, is the only space of its kind in the region, offering personalized, hands-on well-being experiences for patients, survivors, caregivers, staff, students, researchers, and more, all in one space, together.

As one of only 11 Osher Centers for Integrative Health in the world, we’re proud to lead this innovative approach to care. From cooking classes and mindfulness programs to movement therapy and time in nature, we are redefining what healing looks like.

John & Carrie Hayden Community Learning Kitchen

The region’s first Academic Community Learning Kitchen spans 1,409 square feet with five stations for hands-on group culinary experiences. Led by Chef Stephanie White, EdD, a chef, educator, and researcher, our Culinary Medicine Program offers evidence-based classes for everyone, from Cooking for Brain Health to Diabetes-Friendly Meals, making healthy eating practical, delicious, and empowering.

Mind-Body Spirit Wellness Studio

The Mind-Body-Spirit Wellness Studio is a 1,448-square-foot space for up to 274 people, centered around an inlaid labyrinth for reflection and connection. The studio brings the community together through yoga, tai chi, sound immersion, mindfulness meditation, music therapy, and art therapy, supported by partners such as the Chaplaincy and Survivorship programs, to foster whole-person healing.

Rooftop Healing Garden

The Rooftop Healing Garden is a 1,509-square-foot space featuring fresh, healing herbs, basil, mint, rosemary, sage, and lavender, for use in the kitchen. Designed for reflection and group programs such as Nature as Medicine, the Seed to Harvest Program, and Nature-Based Reset Micro-Moments, it promotes nature as a vital part of whole-person wellness while offering a restorative space for respite.

Conveniently located on the Fifth Floor of the UC Blood Cancer Healing Center (3232 Healing Way, Cincinnati, OH 45229) with free, on-site parking available in the attached garage.

The building is designed for calm, comfort, and optimal healing, inspired by cancer patients and their families, and welcoming to all: community members, patients, caregivers, staff, students, faculty, researchers, organizations, and more.
