Teaching Kitchen Event Locations

  • Turner Farm Teaching Kitchen events occur in Indian Hill, Ohio. Past events have included Optimizing Your Brain Health through Farm Fresh Foods (Mladen Golubic, MD, PhD), Cooking for Cancer Prevention & Recurrence (Mladen Golubic, MD, PhD), and Preventing Cancer through Healthy Choices: A Scientific Approach (Rekha Chaudhary, MD).
  • The Food as Medicine Series at the Cr(EAT)e Culinary Studio at the Cincinnati Museum Center has featured topics such as Cooking for Gut Health (Lauri Nandyal, MD)

NEW John & Carrie Hayden Community Learning Kitchen Opening Spring 2026

rendering of community learning kitchen  on fifth floor of blood cancer healing centerWe are excited to announce a new one-of-a-kind Wellness Suite, home to a Community Learning Kitchen, Wellness Studio, and Rooftop Healing Garden, is the only space of its kind in the region, offering personalized, hands-on well-being experiences for patients, survivors, caregivers, staff, students, researchers, and more, all in one space, together.

The region’s first Academic Community Learning Kitchen spans 1,409 square feet with five stations for hands-on group culinary experiences. Led by Chef Stephanie White, EdD, a chef, educator, and researcher, our Culinary Medicine Program offers evidence-based classes for everyone, from Cooking for Brain Health to Diabetes-Friendly Meals, making healthy eating practical, delicious, and empowering.

UC Health Thrive & Be Well UC Points

UC Health Associates

UC Health associates are eligible for up to 200 THRIVE points per month for attending Integrative Medicine classes/events. How to redeem points in the THRIVE app: click on “Rewards.” Scroll down to “Integrative Medicine.” Fill in all required fields and upload proof (registration confirmation, etc.) then click “submit.”

Be Well UC - UC Faculty/Staff

Eligible faculty and staff can earn 1,000+ Be Well UC points in the Personify Health portal with UC’s employee wellness program for attending offerings with the Osher Center for Integrative Health, and earn up to $300 every calendar year. Get started by creating an account or logging in, click the “Home” icon near the top, then, click “Rewards”. Scroll (or search) to the “Participation” category. Click “Attend a UC sponsored event”. Fill out a brief form and submit!
