Get Involved in Faculty Research
MPH students are encouraged to explore opportunities to engage with faculty on a variety of research initiatives. These experiences allow students to deepen their understanding of public health issues and build valuable skills outside the classroom. Whether through ongoing projects or short-term collaborations, faculty involvement can enrich your academic experience and support your professional development. Talk with your concentration director or faculty members to learn more about how to get involved.
Student life in the MPH program is enriched by dynamic organizations that promote leadership, service, and advocacy. MPH students have the opportunity to join numerous UC-based organizations from academic to hobby related! Below are two MPH-based student-led organizations.

We know the graduate world can be challenging and that graduate students may have a lot on their minds. The departmental Walk & Talk at the Zoo event provides students with an opportunity to talk or spend some fun time outside. This free, informal event typically takes place once per semester. Students and Program Directors from all DEPHS divisions are invited to attend, but availability is limited!
Fun Fact: Did you know that the Cincinnati Zoo was voted #1 in the nation?!
The experiences highlighted here are just a few of the many ways MPH students at the University of Cincinnati engage, grow, and lead.
